      Good little tape measure

      It's a good design and works well. Unfortunately the fine gradations last all the way up to 12" before going to just 16ths. It can be a bit difficult to find the 16th you're looking for before the 1 foot mark. I'd prefer that they'd end the fine gradations by 6" and at least before 10". Happily Lufkin did not print text ("Lufkin" & "6ft") where it interferes with the gradations along the edge (like Stanley does on their 3 footer -- which is a real pain). This tape does not have the markings on both sides of the tape, altho it does have them on both edges of the front side. I find it bit chunky compared to the slim Stanley 3-footer. The red color of the case helps to find it when I've misplaced momentarily. It's stiff enough to reach almost 4 feet unsupported -- pretty good for ...
