    Item shipped in decent time, the item looks as described. Only con is the backs of the safety eyes are every so slightly too small to get over the plastic eye post without a lot of effort (Although, it can be done.). I ended up using an awl to slightly stretch the backs, and got them to work for what I needed.

    If you drop them in a cup of HOT water, the plastic will soften and be much easier to put on.

    Back is too small

    I use safety eyes all the time because I crochet amigurumi. The small size (4.5 mm) I ordered was for a mini Pooh Bear I was making. I could not get the backing to fit on the eye stem to hold the eye in and ended up stretching the crochet work and making a hole. I tried with pliers and other tools to force the backing to fit, but nothing worked. This is Pooh Bear with larger eyes that I already had...they are bigger than they should be, but...ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
