    I have purchased this same item before a...

    I have purchased this same item before and it worked great with Linux Mint without extra drivers. This batch does not work with Linux even with extra drivers installed. They do work with Windows 11 however. But I bought them to use with Linux desktops.

    Upgraded my old backup HP17 Laptops wire...

    Upgraded my old backup HP17 Laptops wireless speeds to 5G. Works great. Running Windows 8 & 10. Original wireless cards were only 54Mb. Got up to 290MB on these older computers by adding this to a usb port. Modem is an old NETGEAR C7000V2 cable modem but works fine, quick enough. Eliminated waiting on video downloads. Windows updated to the new driver then rebooted. Had to select the new WIFI connection thru the network/internet settings but hey, it did everything else. Great product. Thanks!!

    A simple and effective solution

    I use a retired business computer for my personal computer. It is perfect for me in every way except for one - it has no Wi-Fi support. It was intended to be part of an ethernet system I ordered this adapter, received it quickly, and plugged it into an unused USB port on the back of my computer. Problem instantly solved! My computer recognized it, listed available Wi-fi networks and in moments I was going full speed ahead. Very happy camper here.
