    Use it for vynyl too!

This is the best stuff on the market in my opinion, it soaks into dirt and engine grime and jet washes off great leaving engine bays looking well looked after, but not only that, I use on vynyl too, if it is sprayed on lightly and left for a couple of minutes it cleans so deep it ages interiors look new! One word of warning though, it is so strong that if you've it on vynyl too long it will start to strip the colour! So be aware that the job has to be done and not left while you grab your dinner! After you've cleaned the vynyl it can be brought back to a shine with other products ( these are usually listed as dashboard cleaners but only make the dirt on there shiny dirt! Lol Good value and much better than consumer products available elsewhere!

  • This will degrease engine parts but will not break down carbon soot deposits.

It works really well except that it is expensive at £1 per litre and it is not provided with any reusable or recycling documentation. It is caustic so make sure to wear all appropriate PPE clothing including a mask or face shield if spraying.

  • Easy to use, works well.

Dissolved the grease and oil from a 30 year old leaking engine in 2hrs. Washes away to leave a clean surface. Better than a lot of branded products on the market.

  • Works well

These days, parts washer fluid all seems to be water based. Maybe I'm a little out of touch, but I remember when it was largely petroleum based. I mixed it at about 3 to 1 for a nice strong solution and have been gradually diluting it as it goes down. It works well, it seems pretty good at softening paper gaskets and softening baked on deposits - although it takes a while. You'll want an assortment of stiff brushes to agitate the grease, buy this solvent does a good job of dissolving it and washing it away. Don't get me wrong, it's not a patch on brake cleaner for outright dissolving oil, but where this stuff comes into its own is that you can rinse a part off with clean water after degreasing, then paint it once it's dried.
