    LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

    Aykroyd and Belushi at their very best with a star filled supporting cast too awesome to mention them all. The best and only SNL spin off film that's worth watching. I've seen this movie many times and just sit and smile from start to finish. It belongs in everyones collection.

    This movie revolves around the desperation of Chicago tax policy and the recidivism of urban youth. They are on a mission from God, and music will save their soul. It is also a showpiece demonstrating the superiority early 70's Dodge sedans with a solid 440 powerplant verses the disposable malaise era Ford. It is also no coincidence that the Nazis died in a Pinto wagon. These two boys will spend their remaining freedom living up to their potential and keeping promises to those they care about. The Band! The Band? says Elwood. THE BAND! We're getting the band back together! This is the extended version. You should watch it rather than the theatrical release, which is shorter.

    This classic is even more entertaining when you get to see the extended version. This is one of those movies any music fan or fan of the city of Chicago must see. The humor is real life topic driven in the style is Second City and the Compass players. The music is not only a run of hits, but interestingly enough, re-recorded by the original artists who performed in the movie, for the soundtrack. Make this one a tradition.
