I was able to go thru setup and do a scan and the flickering stopped. The scan completed and I left the tv on for about 10 minutes then turned it off. A short while later I turned the tv on and nothing. To make a long story short, the board failed. The main board you purchased is not related to flickering of the screen of your TV. This is caused by the backlights. You have bad backlights.
