The R134a (1/2" ACME) to standard 1/4" flare fitting looks well made but fits the standard 1/2" ACME threads on a 134a cylinder quite poorly. The fitting does not thread on without use of a wrench, it was so tight at the end i was concerned the threaded portion of the valve might shear off. In my case the adapter will stay on the tank until its contents have been fully used but if you plan on removing it for storage be forewarned.
