    Second-grade BHT

    The bottle of BHT i got from eBay looks like it must have been filled from less-than-first-line stock. In my experience BHT purchased directly from LifeLInk has a texture and taste similar to that of gunpowder. (Clean grit!) The BHT I purchased through eBay had less gritty content (fewer larger sized crystals) and seemed to have some kind of soapy-like "fill."
