    Great value

    I purchased these when upgrading brakes on an older bike I was working on and I'm very happy with the quality. They are well made, sturdy and strong. The black color looks great. They have an adjustment to alter the handles distance from the handlebar, allowing a comfortable reach for different sized hands. They also have an adjustment for leverage to match them to different types of brakes. The price was excellent on these, making them a great value and easy to recommend.

    Excellent Quality Upgrade

    The Tiagra line are quality products in the Shimano hierarchy. Solidly constructed but without excess metal to save weight. This brake lever is compatible with both cantilever and V-brakes through a simple manipulation of the cable attachment. Cable housing is included which is now a black color rather than the old school grey. This is an excellent upgrade for my 1995 GT Cyclocross and I highly recommend this product.
