To use DC-only bulbs on this type of setup, you’ll need to either tap into a DC line or power the bulbs from a standalone battery. Some older sleds—especially those set up for racing—don’t have a battery or voltage rectifier, and instead feed the headlight directly from the stator (AC voltage). We’re always here to help troubleshoot and offer guidance!
