    A wonderful series ! Well written and acted! The quality of the the discs are clear and the colors outstanding! A really wonderful and well priced set ! I highly recommend it and the seller! And will continue to check with him periodically to see what else might be on the menu !

    Best of BBC

    If you have never seen the BBC series, Doc Martin, starring Martin Clunes, you're missing out on one of the funniest comedies ever. Doc Martin is a surgeon who faints at the sight of blood... need I say more? He is a dry and very sober individual who takes a lot of getting used to, but when you do, you love him and the entire cast so much that you will do as I have and purchase the series. I laugh just as hard watching the series over again! You can't go wrong with Doc Martin, and I can't wait for the next season!

    A great show to binge watch... then see it over and over again!

    Our local PBS station discontinued airing this series. It's a great story, very well written with unique characters. My whole family loves Doc Martin. This is a present but I had to watch it first before passing it on. Because of the show I have also decided to purchase the books based on the series.

    Great inteligent drama/subltle comedy, which my PBS won't play in sequence!!!!

    Acorn Media, (didn't reply to my complaint), puts out a faultily designed hard plastic hinged case inevitably resulting in scratched discs. (I also believe these may be softer & even more vulnerable.) Of the complete 8 season plus 2 movies only 6 discs needed no cleaning. Paper sleeves would be a far superior storage medium. Note: The average consumer does not have a pro cleaner like I do, therefore would do a return as damaged goods. In the future when purchasing British shows I begrudgingly will opt for Region 2 DVDs, which obviously require a REGION FREE player.

    Top English Comedy in Years

    My wife and I did marathons of original versions. Great rather than waiting for next episode. Allows one to really immerse into the plot and characters. So, we're saving this set until our next RV vacation. Expect it to be as rewarding as all previous seasons. Love the intro and music, plus the scenery. Great for snapping and using for desktop wallpapers or phone home screens. One caution: if you haven't viewed other seasons or episodes, buy and watch those first. A must.
