I guess like all these chairs it takes a little getting used to, but it's very stable even on slopes. Its nice to have a height adjustable back and adjustable width on the arm rests, though there is enough room in the chair for me without the spacers. Very impressed, it's early days yet but so far I'm happy with the purchase.
