    Go For It!!!

    This magpul is a true drop in replacement for the ruger american predator, which is an awesome rifle that comes with a "dollar store" stock. The magpul has really nice geometry, and comes with all necessary hardware and replacement magazine and instructions. It's a 30 minute task, if you take your time. It's hard polymer throughout, with an aluminum bedding block. Polymer isn't great for feel or grip, but if you intend to do a custom spray paint job then it's what you really want. I have a magpul on my mossberg 500 Turkey gun as well and love it!!

    Inexpensive Upgrade

    This is my second MAGPUL hunter stock. The first one I installed to replace the wood stock on a Rem 700 VS. Both the Rem 700 and the Ruger American showed marked improvement over the factory stocks the rifles came with. You can spend a lot of money to go the chassis way or do the MAGPUL hunter way and save money. No it's not a gonna make your stock 700 or Ruger American a one hole rifle. But if your lucky, you should see a marked improvement in accuracy.

    Beleive it will be fine and adequate for the money.

    Solid, a little heavier than expected, didn't fit perfect, to extract the bolt you have to turn the bolt down. All in all it should function well. Would have been great if it had the eye on the front to mount a bipod. Had to go buy one, another 20 bucks. I still need to shoot before making a 5 star.

    It's great that the MAGPUL stock comes in different colors.

    The Magpul stock is great, would've been nice to have instructions for installing bipods (of all kinds) which most shooters use!!!!!!!!!!!!! The user needs to buy an additional piece for certain Bipods.
