    Firebirds, Mustangs, and Probes (and my Plymouth Arrow ) are my top speed demons of all time, and the multiple variations I have with the metal bases are without a doubt some of the fastest castings ever made for Hot Wheels. When I was younger, my bro and I actually used to test Hot Wheels at Mattel in Hawthorne CA while all the design team and talking heads stayed behind the one-way glass. I always feel a little attached to these early years designs, 'cuz maybe I helped in some way :)
