    Dell has fixed problems with these docks.

    This works great for what I needed for my new computer. It's not a dell laptop, but it works fine on my razer laptop with thunderbolt 3. I got the drivers from Dell and it appears that they have fixed all of the issues, works like a dock should. You can buy these cheap now because Dell stopped selling them!!!
