Packaging was also great as I am loathe to "overpacking" an item unnecessarily and this was perfect. My family could not afford Barbie dolls when I was a girl, and my grandmother gifted me a Maddie doll very similar to this one. Even though she was not the 'real deal", I loved her. While the doll does not match the one I had exactly, the memory it brings to mind is a very happy one!
