      Good Product For Preventing Cold Sores

      When taken at the first sign of a cold sore L-lysine usually stops it from developing. While the antiviral medications that are available with a prescription are also very effective in stopping the herpes simplex virus from replicating the cost of L-lysine is a fraction of the price of a doctor's office visit and prescription medication. Unless there's some reason why taking L-lysine is contraindicated for you-which would be highly unsual since lysine is one of the amino acids-I suggest taking it at the first sign of a cold sore. If it doesn't work you can always use a prescription anti-viral med. If it does work you've just saved a lot of money.
