I have a mid 70s Peavey Heritage VTX I recently acquired. The previous owner declared it was red plating, so I figured it was probably an easy fix. My repairman went though it and figured out it was just a bad tube. I was looking for a good inexpensive replacement just in the off chance the thing grenaded on me. I installed them and fired up the amp. No issues at all. The amp is loud and clean. These tubes are a perfect choice for repairing an amp on a budget.

  • Amplified Part's Apex Matched 6L6GC JJ tubes highly recommended!!

I play loud. All the time (yeah, I know, nobody's perfect). Mostly I play to get SRV and Jimi tones using Fender-ee amps and a strat. Through experience I've found JJ tubes sound good and are rugged enough for my purposes. Apex matching provides a duet of tubes that bias and match pretty much perfectly. I'll buy more without a doubt.

  • Good Value

This was a matched pair of 6L6GC tubes, at a low price but the plastic key was broken off one of the tubes, this was clearly shown in the pictures. So I was a little Leary since this generally indicates rough handling, but for the price I thought I'd give it a try. Both tubes arrived quickly an we're well packed, no other damage was evident. Long story short, they worked great, so this was a good value.

  • JJ Tubes

Very warm sounding tubes Ive used JJ tubes in my amps for several years due to the fact that I usually like warm clean tones.
