The description says that the unit is for Mobile Repeater use, but the installation instructions say that the active components should be around 30' away from the antenna to prevent interference. Unless you mounted the antenna on the back of a 55' semi trailer I don't know how you would accomplish this, but that is what the instructions say. It is 12v so would work in the average vehicle, but the separation is a thing.
