I used this product to glue some splitting weatherstrip on my s10 where the vertical rubber seals along the front of the rear side windows. This particular seal is part of the rear window assembly and replacing all of that is now unnecessary. I cleaned the rubber with isopropyl alcohol first, masked around the rubber, and then laid a thin bead of glue between the split. Then I pressed the two edges together, and 24 hours later I have no split.
