    GTM36 traffic receiver not compatible

    I went to Garmin website to find out what’s the Model number of the live traffic receiver cord. I found out and bought the one that they say works with this gps to buy. I bought the GTM36 cord But the gps say it’s not compatible. Maybe it’s either the gps or the cord.

    Good GPS!

    The bigger screen is much easier to view than my two previous Garmins...(Nuvi and Street Pilot). Plus I’ve discovered some customizable features in the trip data section....time of day, total time driving, stopping etc. The driver alerts are also a welcome feature as well.

    Large easy-to-use display

    I have used Garmin GPS devices for years. All have worked well. The fact that this one has a wider screen does make it much easier to see. It also paired immediately with the Garmin backup camera installed on my Buick LeSabre.

    Garmin Drive 61 Works Great

    This is the GPS you should buy if you need a large 7" display. All Garmins work fine but you should buy this one if you find that your GPS is too small for you to readily make the correct decisions when you are driving. This one seems to work different from the Nuvi line that I am used to in that you have to put in the state each time you want to choose a location but other than that, I like the extra information it provides aboutroad obstructions and traffic patterns. You really can't beat the lifetime maps!
