    Tamron 90mm Sp

    This is a great lens, with few inperfections. The focusing speed on most shooting situations is very quick. This is a mostly accurate camera, with it missing the mark with typical challenging situations such as low contrast or dark lighting. Macro photography is marvelous, and the VC is a great system that helps stabilize the shot. Tripod is still recommended for close up shots despite VC as sometimes slight movements will drop the focus. Colors are vibrant, and chromatic saturation and color fringing are nearly nonexistent . The lens is hefty! While some might not mind it, others probably won't like the size or weight. Other than that, it's hard to not love this lens.

    A great alternative to Canon's 100mm L macro.

    Nice, sharp lens even when used wide-open and crazy sharp at f/4 and above. The image stabilization seems to be as good as my Canon 100mm L macro and focusing is just fine on my EOS R. The lens has a nice feel, though the Canon seems like it may be a bit more durable. Recommended!
