The Audio-Technica AT-LP60 turntable is equipped with a USB output. This can be used to connect the turntable directly to your computer, so as to record music in digital format to play on your device. The turntable is made with an anti-resonance die cast aluminum platter with a fully automatic belt drive and a DC, servo controlled motor. The fully automatic belt drive turntable operates at two speeds: 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. This innovative sound system features the technology and accessories needed to enhance your listening experience. The turntable includes an integral dual magnet phono cartridge, with a replaceable diamond stylus. The Audio-Technica AT-LP60-USB is equipped with audio outputs for USB, jack and RCA. The system is designed with a built-in switchable phono and line preamp. This allows you to connect the turntable to any computer, powered speakers, or stereo system, with a phono or line level input. The accessories include a dual RCA (female) to 3.5 mm mini plug (male) stereo adapter cable, the 45 RPM adapter, USB cable, and recording software. Audio-Technica make listening to your favorite classic albums and uploading your music in digital format, easy and enjoyable. It is always important to check compatibility with your computer and operating system prior to making a purchase. The system comes with Audacity software that is compatible with Mac and PC.     Audio Technical LP60USB, a good quality at good price

    This is a good quality product at a low price. It is simple to set up, with the built in pre-amp allowing me to connect it to a pair of powered speakers, and not needing any other equipment, like a receiver. The sound is very good, and it played my records with known areas that ‘skip’ without skipping. It looks very nice too. My only criticism is that some parts don’t “feel” quality. The plastic controls on the front have a cheaper feel even though I think the overall quality is very good. I would recommend to anybody who wants to easily play their records with a good sound, and don’t necessarily need and extremely expensive, top of the line turntable.

    Audio Technica USB Turntable

    The unit is easy to setup and use. There is a quirk either in Win 7 or the turntable itself that requires you to plug in the usb cable when ready to use it, and un-plug when done. Otherwise sound from the PC doesn't work. May be a setting that can be changed, I just have not spent too much time exploring. The stylus (phono cartridge, or needle as some would call it) seems pretty cheap and we'll see how it holds up and how readily replacements are found. I doubt it can be upgraded. Care in placement of the unit is needed as any movement or vibration will cause a feedback brought on by the very light tone arm setting, which is NOT adjustable. I've used a piece of tape to add ever so slight weight to reduce the feedback. My goal for the turntable is to convert many old old albums to digital. ...

    Turntable for the new world

    This unit looks nice and works as advertised. It was easy to assemble and plays the records we have great One of our records has quite a warp to it and the player still plays it just fine. We are in the process of playing our albums to the hard drive in the computer.

    Transfer to CD
