    Rollicking Action-Adventure Swashbuckler

    I was unaware of this rollicking, action/adventure/humorous swashbuckler until I encountered it while browsing on eBay. It was a fortuitous discovery! Bruce Campbell as the swashbuckling (but clumsy) Daring Dragoon offers the perfect contrast to the beautiful, cultured, and brilliant Emilia. Together, they foil the clumsy French attempts to dominate the New World. Guest celebrities include Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Blackbeard, Napoleon, and a host of others, friend and foe. One Caveat: I would not recommend watching these delightfully racy episodes while children are present. There is no full nudity, but large expanses of skin, fair and foul, are exposed in just about every episode.

    show is lowbrow and silly but charming (mostly because of the lead actors). video quality is just hard to look at on a 1080p tv. not sure if it's a bad transfer or low quality digital video source material but its all over sharpened jagged edges and it bothers me.

    Bruce Canpbell Jack of all trades complete series dvd

    I enjoyed this series very much when it first aired and I am delighted that it was released on dvd.Bruce Campbell is a hilarious over the top comedic hero and Angela Dotchin portrayed his sidekick brilliantly. I highly recommend especially in these times.

    Fun Series.

    I can watch this show over and over again. Lots of cheese, so its nice to unwind to. I like the characters and sets/scenes. I wish that it had stayed on the air longer. Verne Troyer was awesome as Napoleon.
