    Thoughts on the Gerber Strongarm

    My mom bought me this knife for my birthday. It fits nicely in my hand and has substantial weight to it. I personally prefer a serrated edge over a plain edge for a tactical knife. I still appreciate the option of blade type and color. One of my favorite features is the glass breaker on the end of the handle. What sets this apart from other tactical knives is the molly sheath. Easy on and off your belt with snap together construction. Glad to see it is made in the United States. I will probably purchase the Gerber Ghost Strike in the near future. Highly recommended.

    Quality fixed blade Knife

    The Knife is well balanced, with a very sharp blade, that makes it very easy to use. The handle is made with a very good material, that makes it easy to grip, with or without gloves, and is very easy to hold in cold conditions without worrying about the transfer of the cold to the users hand. It's built with a full tang, which increases it's durability, when processing wood or batoning. The steel used for the blade holds a very sharp edge, but can be sharpened easily... Overall the length of the blade and handle make this a very handy utility tool for camping, odd cutting jobs around the work place or the home.

    Gerber STRONGARM Knife

    This Gerber Strongarm knife I bought is a great knife.Excellent for camping,hiking and for personal protection. I really like the sheath enabling the user to carry the knife in multiple configurations. The quality of both the knife and sheath should ensure years of quality service. I actually bought two of these Gerbers and intend to give one to my son who frequently kayaks on Texas rivers and lakes..
