      Not as good as used to be!

      I'm glad that I bought one of these but, the quality is not near the quality it used to be but, then again the last two that I bought were still made in the USA! It's not totally bad, but, it isn't as smooth working! The texture of the metal isn't as good, it all seems to be sharp edges! Other than that it works o.k.! I guess you don't get the quality for your money in anything now days! I do recommend one for anyone that doesn't have one, it's better than none! Value and Quality both kind of fall in the middle between Yes and No!

      Must have item in the backpack / vehicle

      I chose models that I could confirm are made in USA. They are of good quality. Material and workmanship seem to be top notch for the tool that it is. Some people expect too much. Your not building bridges with it. Multitude of uses, and if not abused, should last a lifetime or more.
