The box was sealed but easy to get into. Not over tapped. Once inside it had at least 5 revolutions of packaging paper wrapped neatly around the book. Given the quality advertised, I was extremely diligent to make sure no corners were poking out of the wrapping or that anything got mushed. It did not! The book looks excellent thanks to the care and quality put into the packaging.
