    Good example of this period piece.

    This is a fine example of a typical windmill used primarily in the USA. This kit is not a bad example although the casting of parts has for this kit have suffered over time. There was some mis-alinement due to the casting molds age. I was able, after some extensive adjustment, make a model that fits the scene well and am satisfied that the view I intended is reasonably fine.

    Poor casting quality

    The casting had a lot of flashing, some of it quite thick, and some voids (missing chunks in a couple of places. After quite a bit of carving and filing it was looking ugly and I gave up on it. I plan to scratch build it, using this model as a guide. I think I can come out with a nicer result.

    Farm windmill

    Its a kit a little hard to put together, needs some adjustments, like filing joints or tabs before glueing together . When finish it looks nice
