Had speaker wire already hooked inside the box, I’d say 16 gauge which I upgraded to 12 full spec kicker wires. The side connections for positive and negative are gold screws on so you don’t have to worry about a spring breaking. I’m happy with my purchase

I modified it and made the item work for me. I think I would buy elsewhere but item is A+
