    Great for strop sharpening

    I used this rouge on my first strop to sharpen a few knives. They will now literally shave my arm bald after about 20 passes on each side. I'm considering getting a straight razor because of how easy this was. An excellent product at a great price!

    Geed compound - Professional grade

    More for wheels than strops so it's bit a tough on the drier side. If you're going to use it for strops you might need a touch of oil, strop balm. The actual grit is fairly strong on this one(as far as green the green compound goes) and can polish up hard metals easily. Very consistent professional grade pure compound. High end for settings, antiques.

    Great stuff

    Great for polishing a knife edge. I have some of the red color and it's good too, but this is better for certain metals. If you have a really hard steel blade use the green and then finish off with the red. Just with red alone you would need to strop 3 or 4 times as long to get the same effect than using just the green.

    Perfect for sharpening

    I use this to strop my tools for leather craft and it's exactly what I need. Just a few passes and my tools are cutting without effort, making the whole process safer and easier. I can't recommend this more highly!
