The rewiring instructions to bypass the ballast are pretty simple and straight forward. I had to also replace the light switch for my application, not a big deal just fyi. The price was ok and it beats having to replace the old florescent everytime the bulb gets bumped.

One lamp replaces 2 fluorescent lamps. Easy install--plug it into the existing connections after you remove the ballast and connect the wiring to the 110AC---EASY.

The box of bulbs was swaddled in bubble wrap, inside a much larger, corrugated cardboard shipping box, with plenty of stickers saying, "fragile," "glass." See attached pics. This is the way pros ship glass. Also these bulbs are a perfect fit for my lava lamp. Also this seller had the best unit price on these particular bulbs, at the time I bought them. Very impressed.
