    A great simple fix.

This input jack socket is an easy fix to a manufacturer flawed design. It is simple to install and looks correct for the guitar.. I have installed them on my own guitars and on repair jobs I've done for others. This is great gadgit,

Does not fit American made guitar.

I have an American Professional II Telecaster and it does not fit the threads on my output jack. If they are going to sell these products they should clearly state what they will and will not fit. After reading several Telecaster forums related to these jack plates from All Parts and others there are many others who have ordered these and discovered upon receiving them that they did not fit for the same reason. The problem is because they have a metric thread and it won't fit an American made in USA guitar. Stew Mac and another company sell the correct ones but they charge more for the shipping than they do for the jack plate and it is a very small item that should not cost more than $2 or $3 dollars to ship. I guess I'll have to get out the soldering iron.

  • Electro socket retrofit

I’ve used these on several Telecasters to fix jack sockets that have come loose and cant be tightened. They have proven to be an excellent solution, and it’s surprising that Fender hasn’t adopted them as original equipment by now. The one thing I’d like to see done with these is the inclusion of jack sockets with them. The fact is that most old original jacks need to be replaced by the time a Tele needs one of these, and it would simplify the repair if the jack itself was included.Otherwise, I thing these are excellent products that fill a definite need. Thumbs up!

  • High quality 7/8" diameter Electrosocket

Excellent Electrosocket. I have used these on 3 guitar builds, couple this with Pure Tone Multi Contact jack and you have the best setup available. I am beyond picky on quality, if it isn't top-notch it will not go on one of my guitars.
