    Unsatisfactory on first use of the string head.

    I have used it on one mowing using the red string that came in it and I was disappointed. The string repeatedly broke off just inside the head which caused me to disassemble the head and re-string the head. This happened about 8 times on my 1/8 acre mowing and the grass wasn't more than about 6" tall. I hope it's better with the Husqvarna Titanium Force string I got for it. Right now, I'd rate the head at about 2-1/2 stars out of 5. I would not recommend it to a friend.

    Works great!

    I discovered this trimmer head while watching a youtube video. Since I have an older Echo trimmer I decided to try one. This Speed Feed head was a direct fit and cheaper than buying the kit that had all the adapters for different brand trimmers. I've used it once and think it's great. Glad they came out with this.

    Excellent trimmer head

    I just put this echo head on my STIHL trimmer. It's super easy to load and does a fine job trimming. The flat head doesn't scar up the ground like some of the other knobbed heads. Up to this point, I have used the STIHL supercut head, which is a fine trimmer head in itself. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Echo speed loader 400.
