    I did not receive item that was described. Seller sent the older version and then told me to try it anyway because it would still work. Then I finally agreed to keep the one I didn't want but asked seller to at least give back some of the price to compensate for the older version. I never heard another thing back from the seller.     Great USB WiFi dongle, but requires a minor tune up

    One of the few existing USB WiFi modules that has well-tested driver that supports master mode. Works well with zd1211rw driver. A minor issue is that the kernel does not recognize the device by default - somehow G-220 v3 never ended up being listed as supported in the driver source code. This is easily solved by explicitly asking the kernel to use the driver. Google "linux force driver for device" and the link to unix stackexchange is what you need.
