The material of the outer is a little rough and plasticky, but I expect them to wear in fine, and given the fit (loose, not baggy) and lining, I don't feel it on my skin. Only worn them once, so can't comment on durability. I'm 31 or 32 waist, bought medium, which fits well. I bought these because other cheap options from Adidas or Nike seemed over engineered, and I'm please with my purchase.
