    Hard to tie for an old man

    There should be a metal clip to keep these on instead of a tie string. They can’t take much vibration, but then, not even expensive ones can. I don’t know the difference in brightness because I haven’t used the expensive ones. But it seems plenty bright to me. Can you tell you about longevity because I have it had an emergency and needed to use them yet.

    Excellent Quality Mantles!

    I discovered these mantles after having a terrible experience working with current "Coleman" brand #21 Mantles (both string tie and Insta-clip). These Quick Clip 908M's are a great choice and priced right, not to mention American made too.
