Pay close attention to the picture, this model doesn't have the black front cover the original has. It seems fine. Install silver cover side against the mother board. Works all the same. If you bought for a quiet fan probably the open form is better for that.

The item itself have plastic blades, the once i replaced (originals once) were metal blades. So they are a tiny bit lighter. I feel the new fans makes less noise, but that might be placebo. Highly recommend this seller!
