I'm 5'4 and the dress falls to the knee, so it's a tiny bit longer than I would have liked. The higher quality dress would definitely be the way to go if you have curves. I would just order a size down. I'll still wear it. I can still see my shape and it's cute. It is made of jersey material so you will need some type of slip or shorties under it.
