Good Protection but needs a redesign.
The concept is great, belly is protected from flues BUT each time my horse rolled, the belly guard's Velcro would come undone and the guard would slip. Like others, I took some hay string and tied the either straps to the rump straps. That keeps it up. Just be sure to tie so you can un-do it each night to remove it. I would NOT leave it on all night. Thank goodness my horse didn't freak out when it did slip out of place or he could have torn the belly guard or hurt himself. In the hot, humid Texas summer, this is still a viable solution for protecting my horse.The concept is great, belly is protected from flues BUT each time my horse rolled, the belly guard's Velcro would come undone and the guard would slip. Needs to be better quality seams
It was on my horse less than two hours before the seam ripped and its now unusable. The binding is cheap felt that rips very easily and isn't suitable for use. Sorry to say I am disappointed, I live in the UK and had to pay alot for postage and inport charges but needed something for my horse with sarcoids. I thought this would be perfect and would have been if better quality.

Protects Summer Sores
Each summer, my friend's gelding suffers from summer sores on his penis. Last summer, it was terrible and required treatment two or three times a day with no healing. This year, he was saved from the pain and suufering. Great invention. The elastic stretched out quickly, but I sewed some straps with velcro to keep the belly guard up.

The piece that keeps them high enough on the horses hip would not slide forward enough to keep the guard in the correct position. The guard slipped down and became tangled around my horse and because of this, it was ripped to shreds after the 2nd use.
