    Expectations too high

    The story was well written and the acting was great. I've owned "You've Got Mail" for a number of years and heard it was a remake of "Shop Around the Corner", so I wasn't prepared for the type of drama in "Shop Around the Corner". I bought it because Jimmy Stewart starred, who in my opinion always delivers a good performance, which he did. "You've Got Mail" ruined "Shop Around the Corner" for me because, in my opinion, it is lighter, there is more character development and a more satisfying climax, but "Shop Around the Corner is a good movie.

    Great Little Movie
