    Captivating

    Lots of familiar actors from other shows blended with just the right amount of new or unfamiliar that will be the next generation of favorites. Varying excellent story lines along with a continuing plot, a new twist every other episode. Not always a happily ever after, the main character doesn't always come out on top - a good thing. Like most newer shows today, this is considered a 'series', yet only 11 to 13 episodes, which is more of a mini-series. The talent involved with actors, writers and producers could easily take this to the top of todays version of a 'series' by adding 6 to 10 more episodes per season. The wait between seasons is just long enough to make it ok if it gets canceled unexpectedly. Overall a great action, drama with bits of comedic moments.

While the Donovan family are not members of the Mafia, their lives play out in the dark corners surrounding the lives of the movie stars, sports phenoms and elitists of L.A. When something goes wrong in the fairy-tale lives of the rich and famous, somebody has to fix it . . .and that someone is Ray Donovan. In a world of black and white, good and bad, Ray consistently lives on the edge. Is he a fixer with a conscience?

    Funny, suspenseful, addicting.

    Plain and simple, it's a great and entertaining show. I work early in the mornings but I find myself staying up too late because I need to see what happens on the next episode because the story lines pull you in.

    Excellent And Addicting!

    Liev Schreiber is exciting to watch as a high-end thug who gets stuff done for his shady L.A. clients. His family drama makes my crazy Irish family look like the Brady Bunch. Both seasons are awesome, so far.
