Fantastic transaction. Swift delivery and super well packed. Book is in near new state, one that is close to 90 years old. Pictures and description are a perfect match. The incidental letter of the Richmond Battlefield is a great addition. Great value for the excellent condition of the book, maps and the extra letter. Will buy from again.

  • True crime that reads like the "Keystone Cops" meet "The Pink Panther."

It reads like a novel. I do not read much non-fiction, but I thought I would try this as I am a fan of Douglas Preston. When you compare police procedure as we know it here, the story is appalling. The term "preserve the evidence" is unknown. So many people are accused, arrested, tried, jailed, and released it is unbelievable. One of the investigators refer to as being "in a Pink Panther movie." It is worth the read.
