    Good old fashioned craftsmanship

    What an excellent product. Puts the cheap knock off lookalikes in their place. Fantastic quality solid and will not fall apart. Just like the one my grandmother used. Have tried cheaper and total rubbish compared to this. Hope it lasts as long as my grandmas but if not ( hers was easily 40 yrs old) it's a brilliant choice. Totally highly recommended Thank you for a great item

    Not a good peeler,

    Having used one of these style peelers for years, when I recently lost it I decided a new one had to be found. I was so pleased to find this one. Sadly this is not a good peeler. Doesn't appear to be very sharp/effective. The cord wrapped round it is nylon, and it made my hand sore before I'd even peeled 1 carrot. Im looking for a 'proper' one now!

    The Best Peeler

    We wanted exactly the same peeler that we'd had for years, (old one must have gone with the peelings). This is the good old conventional peeler. Nice thin peels, eye remover and exactly as described. Very good value.

    Lancashire Peeler

    I bought this as a replacement. Don't like the zigzag on the blade, not sure what that's for, but find it easy to hurt your hands. Not as sharp as my original one. Shame thought it would be as good.

    Complete Waste of money

    I received it, and tried to use it to peel a carrot but couldn’t even do that with it, because the blade was blunt. It’s brand new and I had to throw it away in the dustbin. Complete waste of money! Do not buy this.
