    I recommend this pan for other SBC builders.

    I installed this oil pan on a SBC 400 engine to fit the original 1958 exhaust crossover pipe in a restored '58 BelAir. The size and shape look like factory stock. All the holes lined up perfectly so the bolts could be inserted and finger tightened and the surface is flat. Installation was easy compared to straightening and reusing an old pan. Including the filter it holds about 5 quarts to the dipstick full mark. The black color was what I wanted.
