I had a broken and missing hinge and didn't order a replacement hinge but even with just the one hinge on a fresh shell made the screen much more stable. Got my DS from a thrift store already broken so this was a nice easy fix to get it up and running. My touch screen was reused so definitely consider replacing that during the shell replacement if you want your touch screen to work better. Love the blue!
