    Carbide center drill

    Excellent for using in high speed production lines to avoid long term wear, For one off use If you are working with metal so hard that you need carbide vs. HS steel you had better use some extreme caution, carbide is very brittle. If you are using it in a conventional lathe be sure that the tail stock is perfectly centered to the spindle because if not it can snap the point right off.
