    Penn HD is for purple lovers. Better balls are manufactured for the sport.

    Penn HD is a typical Penn racquetball. Visibility is good but bounce is inconsistent and sometimes erratic. Racquetballs should always rebound off of every surface and points should never be scored due to a balls diminished bounce. Points should be scored from a players ability to flatten the ball out in a shot which is the result of proper stroke mechanics. Pro Penn green balls are worse and sometimes dead right out of a new can. Penn blue balls break prematurely much too often. Penn Ballistic red racquetballs are the best from this manufacturer. Ektelon Fireballs were the best racquetball manufactured until them going out of business several years ago. Fireballs always had the most consistent bounce and were also quite durable. Those who whined about the Fireballs having been too lively ...
