The shroud tab contacts the radiator tab mount leaving the gap. Don't know if there's a difference between 2017 and my 2016 4Runner, but if so, the tab should be back set 1/8" so the shroud will sit flush. Otherwise , IT'S GREAT !

This item arrived and the box was barely hanging together with tape, not the sellers fault, the shipping company did not handle with care. When I opened and sorted the pieces, one important bracket was gone, lost along the way. I reported this to CJ Pony Parts and they were able to refund me quickly. I appreciate how they handled the issue.
