I guess 2x means they are twice as super soft, if that is a thing. To further confuse things, when I went back and read the product description, it says 1/2*Sleeping eye mask. I don't know if the * was meant as a reference mark but I could not find another * in the listing for meaning. But other than the listing confusion, the mask is awesome. It is quite soft and large enough to block light from all angles.

I like it better than a sleep mask with a skinny little strap. The last two nights I used it, it was like I took a sleeping pill, I slept so sound! It also came in the mail pretty quickly.

All of the needles are labeled by type, the thimble is adjustable, the tape measure is simple but great the thread is coated, as described and all of the pieces look great. I have to say again that I was shocked at how fast the shipping was.
