        It works

        First off the instructions were not very helpful. When I first started lifting top off it was not balanced so I had to figure out how to adjust lift. After adjusting lift the front of top still lifts up first making it a bit hard to remove and install. The lift bends a little bit from weight of top. The clamp that connects to the back of top by opening back window is not easy to connect and you have to be careful not to break window as it has to stay opened.

        Smittybilt 510001-02 bracket for Jeep hardtop lift

        Product overall is good and works for what it was intended for. Overall good quality. You will have to be handy after put it together and try on Jeep hardtop for the 1st time. the eye bolt location doesn't lift the top up evenly and tilts. you will have to find the point where it will lift up evenly and drill hole to move the eye bolt to that spot on the bracket so the top goes up evenly. Can take a few times to figure that spot out. It should just lift the top up evenly right out of the box.

        built well but hatch must remain open

        Quality built, a little awkward to assembly and instructions less than ideal but I managed. I don't like the hook assembly that goes under the back glass and don't like that the glass hatch needs to remain open when stored up

        It is a little wobbly and cannot be used on a tj but works well on our jk. Throw the directions away and look up the video on YouTube.
